GO-AROUND of Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 at São Paulo GRU
On October 30th 2023, while flying from Frankfurt to São Paulo GRU we had to go around.
The reason was that the airplane that landed before us had not yet vacated the runway.
The aircraft is D-ABYG, a Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i delivered to the company in 2013.
The video featuring the complete flight will be uploaded soon. Wait for it.

The best way to go to/from Pudong airport in Shanghai, China, is the maglev train. The ticket costs RMB 50 (~USD 7) each way. The 30 km journey takes only 8 minutes between the Longyang Rd. 737-800 sounds better and looks better. From the outside it really has gorgeous rounded lines and looks the part especially with the original 2m winglets.

Mi abuelo viajo en el 747-200 de Aerolíneas épocas de 1990 a MAD y decía que eran re cómodos... No puedo decir lo mismo hoy del A330 qué me toco volar a Miami y Bariloche y son incómodos.
Yo volé muchas veces entre MAD y EZE y si. Realmente eran cómodos. Solía elegir unas filas de a 2 que había en Econômica.

Yo hice mi primer viaje a Europa por Pluna en septiembre de 1988. El vuelo valia la mitad de lo que cobraba Iberia o Aerolíneas Argentinas. Tardo con algunos retrasos casi 18 horas... Eso si se complementaba con la cantidad de comida que te servian. Anduve yirando casi 7 meses por el viejo mundo y al regreso volvi con el ticket endosado en Lineas Aereas Paraguayas via Asuncion en un DC 8 63 me parece, un avion larguisimo ya que El 707 de Pluna habia quedado varado en Rio varios dias por un problema mecánico. Saludos y un gran recuerdo a pesar que subiste este video hace ya varios años

One of the few videos you can 'feel' the acceleration by just watching. My first ever flight was on a 757 and loved the take-off. Been disappointed by every other take-off since and always think back to that 757. Great times.

Absolutely not. There are certain procedures in case of an emergency.
The 737-800 engines are the best sounding engines, although there may be planes that have better engine sounds but that’s just my opinion.

I love China I've been on this mega lift train, and looking out the window is surreal . Floating on air is something like flying. You don't feel a track. What a ride 👏 China has a beautiful culture, and the food is stunning ❤ Oh, one other thing you can't see anything looking straight out the window because it's a blur You have to look ahead some distance to make out anything. ❤ It slows down in the cities and then takes off again. ❤

My first flight was in a 757(Air2000 from birmingham uk to tenerife) and i remember thinking is this really what a takeoff is like!?...i couldnt believe the noise and the power as it never looks as fast from the outside but the pilot pointed the nose up to what i felt like 45°! It honestly felt more like a rocket than an airplane.
